Urgent Vietnam visa

If your flight is closer than the official 3 working days, licensed Vietnamese companies can ask the Immigration Department for faster handling during Vietnamese office hours. The government fee stays US$25 (single entry) or US$50 (multiple entry); the speed is paid as a service fee. We do not offer urgent processing yet: we file standard applications within 24 working hours.

How urgent processing works

Faster handling goes through licensed Vietnamese companies that deal with the Immigration Department during Vietnamese office hours, on working days. That is why the day and time you apply matter as much as the option you choose: an application sent on a Friday evening in India, Australia or North America is only picked up on the next Vietnamese working day.

What we offer today

Urgent processing is not available through us yet. We file standard applications on the official portal within 24 working hours of your order, for US$74 all-inclusive (US$99 for multiple entry), government fee included; the Immigration Department then processes them in about 3 working days.

Before you pay for urgency

  • Check whether you need a visa at all: citizens of United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Denmark and other exempt countries can stay 45 days without one.
  • Check your passport is valid at least 6 months after arrival: no service can fix a passport that is too short.
  • Have your passport scan and photo ready before you start, so nothing has to be redone.
  • Check that your arrival airport is on the list of gates approved for e-visa holders.

What you need to apply

  • A passport valid for at least 6 months after your arrival date
  • A clear photo of your passport's data page, with no cut corners and both code lines at the bottom visible
  • A recent portrait photo: white background, face straight, no hat, no glasses, formal clothes
  • Your planned entry date, the airport or border gate you will use to enter and to leave, and the address of your first accommodation in Vietnam
  • An email address (50 characters maximum) and a phone number with its country code

Questions

Can I get a Vietnam e-visa in 24 hours?

It is sometimes possible through a licensed Vietnamese company, on working days and during Vietnamese office hours. We do not offer urgent processing yet: today we file standard applications within 24 working hours.

Does urgent processing cost more in government fees?

No. The government fee stays US$25 (single entry) or US$50 (multiple entry). The extra cost is the company's fee for faster handling.

Do weekends count?

No. Vietnamese weekends and public holidays are not working days, for standard or faster processing.

What if I only need a few days in Vietnam?

Check the exemption list first: 24 countries, including the United Kingdom and France, can stay 45 days without a visa. Indian, Australian, US and Canadian citizens need one.
